Whisky has been Beyoncé's drink of choice for years, attracted not only by its sophisticated taste, but also by the inherent sense of strength and confidence it inspires.

She soon came to uncover that her great-grandfather, Davis Hogue, a farmer by trade, had also been an American whisky maker in the south a century ago. He stashed his whisky bottles in the empty knots of cedar trees on his farm, where friends and kin could find and enjoy them.

Beyoncé quickly understood why her own love for whisky ran so deep. Her affinity for whisky was fated. Bottles of SirDavis would not have to be hidden away, but rather would sit proudly on top shelves around the world.

This whisky is a collaboration between Beyoncé and legendary distiller Dr Bill Lumsden. Expect notes of Seville orange, butter cream and toffee followed by oaky spice, cinnamon, clove and rich red fruit. On the palate, there is toasted barley, brioche with fragrant vanilla and lemon drizzle cake.
