Our Story

Tottenham Wine was est in 1978, next to Tescos on the High Rd. It was relocated to the existing site in 1982 (1a West Green Rd), the business at that time was owned by family friends.

They moved to America in 1985 at which time my father purchased the business. I was 6 when my father purchased the business and I still recall the day we officially took over the shop.

My father ran the store for the next 17 years with me helping out here and there. After finishing university I went backpacking around Australia and Asia for a year, on my return I started working full time with my father.

I gradually took over running the shop, and through the last 10 years my father has taken a back seat and helping when required, he officially retired from the shop in 2020. We are very lucky to have a vast number of loyal customers who have been purchasing from us for decades.

These people are part of our success, we would not have been able to do this business for these many years if it was not for the fact we have met some very wonderful human beings.

Our business caters for events, clubs, restaurants and pubs. Though we are a retailer by heart, we have a very strong secondary wholesale business. We operate a sale and return policy which enables people to purchase goods for events, knowing they are able to return in sold items.

We currently have over 1500 products and are always looking to increase our selection. We are always very keen to work with local businesses, especially any one creating a new brand.

We currently have one of the largest craft beer selections in Tottenham and we will look to increase our range for 2021. Our wine selection is also improving all the time with more and more organic options. We have spirits from around the world and offer very competitive prices, we are always happy to bring in customer recommendations and source in products.

We stock exclusive USA import products, as well have high premium items such as a 30 year old Maccallan whiskey. We also sell Cuban cigars, as well as nice pairing Cognacs.

Though not all our products are available to be purchased via the web site, we will be offering our more specialised items, I would recommend a store visit for anyone who wishes to see a more comprehensive showing. We try to offer our customers an honest, warm, friendly environment to shop.

I hope to serve Tottenham for many years and we have lots of new ideas that will help us to be innovators in our field and not just replicators.
