- FLAVOUR PROFILE NOSE: Bold and rich, as tropical aromas come to life, with mango and passion fruit notes, liquorice, a sprinkling of demerara sugar, dark chocolate and a faint waft of gentle wood smoke, which is subtle and nicely balanced, Dig deeper and you will find a touch of menthol emerging and a lighter, more herbal/aromatic note alongside some soft, ripe black cherries
- PALATE: A return of the delicate light topical fruit from the nose, immediately followed by a swathe of sweeter barbeque smokiness, fresh vanilla pods, fresh citrus zest (lime) and star anise. It’s complex and dynamic, moving back again into a lighter fruitiness, with a touch of green apple, then a hint of medicinal smoke and herbal flavours. FINISH: Long and complex, as a touch of smoke lingers, alongside a developing spiciness, with liquorice, soft brown sugar note and a more leafy, slightly earthy flavour as the palate dries
